10.01.2019 | Spannender erste Tag mit Remis im Derby als Abschluss!
Einen souveränen Turnierstart legten die Veilchen von Austria Wien hin. Nach zwei deutlichen 6:0 Siegen führen sie die TSN-Beton-Gruppe an. Noch nicht aktiv waren die anderen beiden Profimannschaften vom FC Augsburg und vom FC Schalke 04. Bereits drei Spiele hat die JSG Schwarz-Gelb absolviert. Es gelangen zwei Siege gegen SVG Göttingen und den Ausrichter FC Grone. Einzig gegen die Profis aus Wien mussten sich die Schwarz-Gelben geschlagen geben. Drittplatzierter ist die JSG Weper mit vier Punkten aus drei Spielen. Sowohl Weper als auch Schwarz-Gelb haben gute Chancen auf die Zwischenrunde. Grone und SVG Göttingen sind mit einem bzw. null Punkten aus zwei Spielen schon stark unter Zugzwang.
In der Move100-Gruppe starteten Hannover 96 und der FC Brügge ohne Punktverlust ins Turnier, Hannover ist Gruppenerster mit neun Punkte, Brügge hat sechs Zähler auf der Habenseite. Das letzte verbliebene Profiteam der Gruppe, Eintracht Frankfurt, startet erst am Freitag. Beste regionale Mannschaft ist der JFV Eichsfeld mit vier Punkten nach drei Spielen, dicht gefolgt von TuSpo Petershütte mit drei Punkten aus zwei Spielen. Die beim Sparkasse & VGH-Cup 2018 beste regionale Mannschaft JFV West Göttingen konnte aus zwei Spielen nur einen Punkt gegen den JFV Eichsfeld holen. Schlusslicht FC Gleichen hat nach vier Spielen null Punkte konnte aber im Spiel gegen Hannover 96 als erste regionale Mannschaft gegen ein Profiteam ein Tor erzielen.
Auch Fulham FC startete mit zwei ungefährdeten Siegen in der LOKHALLE. Die regionalen Vertreter der Rewe-Gruppe holten bis auf die JSG Eintrach HöhBernSee alle einen Sieg, aber nur die SVG Einbeck blieb ungeschlagen. Der begehrte vierte Platz für die Zwischenrunde könnte hart umkämpft und wird wohl zwischen Einbeck, Rhume-Oder und dem SC Hainberg ausgefochten.
Der AZ Alkmaar bestritt als einzige Profimannschaft der Flippo-Gruppe seine ersten Spiele und gewann beide souverän und ohne Gegentor. Spitzenreiter ist aber der FC EIntrach Northeim, der bei drei gespielten Partien sieben Punkte erreicht hat. Auf Platz drei steht der I.SC Göttingen 05 mit vier Punkten aus zwei Spielen. Der JFV Eichsfeld-Mitte und die JSG Uslar/Solling haben nur noch geringe Chancen auf die Zwischenrunde. Highlight des Tages war das Derby zwischen Northeim und 05. Sie trennten sich nach spannendem Kampf 1:1 Unentschieden.

Austria Wien had a marvelous start to the tournament. They are leading the TSN-Beton-group after winning two games with 6:0 each. The other two professional teams of TSN-Beton-group have not played a game yet , FC Schalke 04 and FC Augsburg, will have their debuts on Friday. JSG Schwarz-Gelb have already played three of their games of competition stage. In two of them they were successful and earned points, so that they currently lead as second. Furthermore JSG Weper and JSG Schwarz-Gelb have good chances of reaching the next round. It will be more difficult for the host FC Grone and SVG Göttingen, since they are lacking points.
In Move100-group both Hannover and Brugge collected every point they could possibly get. Hannover is leading the group with nine points. Brugge owns the second place with a total of six points. FC Eintracht Frankfurt ist the last remaining professional team in Move100-group, they will start on Friday. JFV Eichsfeld can call themselves the best regional team of Move100-group, thus having collected four points out of three games. They are followed by TuSPO Petershütte with three points. Last years best regional team JFV West could not take up on their achievements from the past, since they just got a single point out of their two games. FC Gleichen finishes the first day of the tournament as last place, although they were the first local team to score against a professional team, with their two goals against Hannover 96.
FC Fulham can celebrate a successful start to the Sparkasse & VGH CUP with two wins from two games. Besides JSG Eintracht HöhBernSee all of the local teams in REWE-group could get a win on the first, SVG Einbeck stayed undefeated. It seems that the precious fourth place will be highly competitive in REWE-group.
AZ Alkmaar was the only professional team in Flippo-group to play on Thursday, they played two games and won each of them. With a total of seven points FC Eintracht Northeim is the leader of Flippo-group. The third place is possesed by 1. SC Göttingen 05. It will be very hard for JFV Eichsfeld-Mitte and JSG Uslar/Solling to reach the next round. Today’s highlight was the derby between Northeim and 05. After a intense fight it was an 1:1 in the end.
